The EDIUS Neo software from Grass Valley is designed to supply users with a multi-format video editing environment. Editing is multi-track and performed in real time, with users also given tools for editing stereoscopic (3D) video formats. The program has some video property conversion features too. For instance, users can convert HD and SD videos into different aspect ratios, change their frame rates, and convert videos from one resolution to another.
Direct Video output is supported. Users can also apply virtually unlimited effects and transitions to their projects. Edited videos can be exported in several ways and file types, with smart rendering options for several formats. The pro version of the software adds more features, including 2K/4K support, batch exporting, improved audio channel mapping, customizable project sizes, multicam edits, proxy edits, and project consolidation.
The EDIUS Neo software is built for Windows computers. While it supports both Windows 7 and 8, only the 64-bit version is supported on the latter, while both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are supported on the former. The program is not compatible with other Windows versions, including Vista. It also requires more graphics memory for HD editing applications than it does with SD editing applications.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files EDIUS Neo can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
