The EditPad Pro DEMO software is one version of the EditPad text editor and word processor. Essentially used to generate scripts (for programming), it has a host of features that include columnar editing, project file creation, quick word count tools, text wrap and unwrap functions, and more. Users get syntax coloring options for their source code, FTP capabilities, automated and block indenting, line and column numbering, and an option for working in hexadecimal mode. It also supports bookmark creation and has wide-ranging file format compatibilities so that users can edit just about any type of text file with it. It is also a Windows program, compatible with Windows 7 and 8.
So what distinguishes the EditPad Pro DEMO version from the regular/paid Pro version of the software? First of all, the demo regularly reminds the user to switch to the paid option. Second, it does not have the utilities necessary to create custom syntax coloring and file navigation schemes (these are bundled into the paid version). Third, it does not allow users to configure their print headers. Fourth, it does not have a spell checking feature.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files EditPad Pro DEMO can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
