DriverIdentifier is a Windows utility that helps the user keep all their drivers current. This is free software that installs a program for identifying all the drivers installed on the computer. The program will first scan the computer for all existing drivers, and then generate a list of all devices utilized on the machine. It is capable of identifying all devices, their respective manufacturers, and the version of the drivers installed.
The program will provide recommended updates when necessary. The user will be connected to a database that lists all of the available drivers compatible with those that are installed in the system. They then have the option to download updated versions of the drivers, which will then be automatically installed by the program.
Upon launching the program, a Scan Drivers window will appear. Allowing the program to scan the PC by clicking on the “Scan Drivers” green button will automatically launch the program. All identified drivers will then be forwarded to the developer’s servers for analysis. Within a few minutes, information about the device and driver will be displayed. Apart from the device, driver and manufacturer, the date of driver installation will likewise be provided to the user. On the same window, an update option for each driver is provided under the Download tab.
