What is DriverEasy?

DriverEasy or Driver Easy is a program for managing drivers installed on the user’s computer. The software is designed to work on Windows operating systems, specifically, Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. It can run on the 32-bit and 64-bit platforms of the OS (Operating System).

When the program is executed, the user will immediately see the Scan Now option in the middle of the Graphical User Interface. When this option is selected, the program will automatically start scanning the system for all hardware devices installed.

The program supports the following devices: sound card or audio card, Ethernet card, LAN card, Network card, NIC card, wireless LAN, wireless adapter, wireless card, chipsets, PCI, USB driver, video card, and graphics card. It also scans for drivers of external devices such as scanner, modem, wireless USB device, and printer.

Once all drivers have been identified and analyzed, the program will prompt the user of any outdated drivers. When scanning is completed, a window will open that shows outdated drivers and missing drivers. On the same window, a Get Drivers button is provided at the bottom right corner. When the user enables the program to get the missing drivers as well as driver updates, it will automatically search for, and install, all applicable drivers.
