What is Driver Tool?
Drivers HQ is a utility that provides you with solutions on connecting your devices to your computers by providing you with the necessary drivers. The device drivers come from official sources such as Acer, IBM/Lenovo, Dell, HP and other computer companies. It will get the relevant information from these sites and then perform tests and validation for publishing on its own database that is easier to access than from the official sites. These steps are referred to as mining, scrubbing and publishing. The Drivers HQ database contains about 27 million device drivers. You can look for out-of-date drivers from this utility.
To download update for your driver, click the Disk icon button. The Driver download window will appear on your screen and the download will begin. It will show estimated time of finish. When download is complete, click Open to being installing the driver. A new window will appear to show driver information. If prompted to continue, click Next. Sometimes, the driver is stored in a zip file. Choose the folder where you want to save and open the file. Click Ok to continue. The validation will appear to confirm your chosen location for saving extracted files. When the files are extracted, you can begin installing the driver. Click Ok to continue.
