Docs Opener is a program capable of opening different digital document formats. Some examples of file formats that can be opened with the software are DOC/DOCX, TXT, PDF, DMG, KMZ, RTF, HTML, XPS, and XLS/XLSX. While it does not really permit the user to edit those documents, the benefits of the program are still clear for those who regularly deal with those documents on a non-editing or presentation basis. After all, instead of being forced to open the files on separated applications, it would be possible to simply run them all using a single program.
Docs Opener is also equipped with several sorting and organization features for file management. A user can rename files opened in the program, for instance, and sort through various documents based on various metadata. It also has search features, in and out of the actual program viewer. Other features of the software are largely comparable to Explorer’s: the user can perform delete files, transfer them, and copy them to other directories. Furthermore, it has archiving abilities. It can print files from the viewer and is also compatible with Windows 7.
