What is DisplayAgent?
DisplayAgent executes the role of the NeuroServer. It enables the retrieval of client headers, clients and EEG clients. It creates a NeuroServerPacket upon receiving EEG data transmitted by the NeuroServer4, and will send this packet to all NeuroServerPacketListeners registered as listeners on DisplayAgent. Its main feature is to receive data from clients that are connected to NeuroServer and offer EEG data. The DisplayAgent can be created with optional hostname and port.
The command to retrieve clients that are currently connected is getStatus(). The number of connected clients and the role of each one will be displayed in the StatusReply. The DisplayAgent can also request for a client EDF Header that has an EEG role. The EDF Header will be provided in the HeaderReply. You will use NeuroServerPacketListener if you want to get data from one of the clients. You can also get data by registering as a listener on DisplayAgent to watch the client.
