What is DicomViewer Demo?
The Rubo DICOM Viewer is a viewer which lets the user carry medical images into his own desk. This viewer runs on any Windows PC, and once it has been connected to the Internet, it turns into a tool for DICOM images and re-viewing.
It is PC based, and can run on Windows XP, Vista, and 7. It supports DICOM 3.0, as well as all of its modalities, lossy and lossless JPEG and RLE compressions. This program can read DICOM CDs from any manufacturer. It has DICOM SCPs and receive mode, as well as a push/send, query, and retrieve mode. It also has an overview display of CDs or network contents. DicomViewer Demo can also handle large cardiac runs, with up to 1000+ images, and IVUS files with 4000+ images. Users can burn DICOM CDs including a limited CD viewer. This program can be used within patient databases from any hospital, by integrating the software with existing systems or used as a standalone viewer. It is mouse controlled, so no keyboard is required. The auto-stretch feature gives optimal dynamic publishing and viewing. Users can also seek help on an online forum.
