If you are looking for DIALux evo, you have come to the right place. We explain what DIALux evo is and point you to the official download.
What is DIALux evo?
DIALux evo is an illumination planning program with the ability to generate photorealistic representations of plans. The software supports CAD file import, so users can simply transfer their structural designs into the program as the base for illumination projections. The program provides visualization-building tools that can create sweeping video views of a lighting plan or generate a visualization that takes into account ambient lighting and time-of-day effects. Both indoor and outdoor areas can be used in DIALux plans.
Light scenes can be adjusted precisely in the program, which also permits transparent material rendering (for glass objects, for instance). Users can label spaces and dimensions directly in the CAD editor, which supports colored lighting. The software can also perform computation of illumination values for street lighting plans according to EN-13201. Another special feature is the inclusion of tools as well as templates for sports stages and areas.
DIALux is a free program and packs luminaries from nearly all of the commonly used global manufacturers. It comes in a multiplicity of localizations and has an international user forum. There are also a number of plugins from various manufacturers available for free.
