Content Manager Assistant is software developed by Sony Computer Entertainment for users of the PlayStation gaming console, more specifically, for PlayStation Vita. The software enables the user to transfer files from their gaming console to the computer, and vice-versa.
The user can transfer data from their saved games, as well as game information; and media files stored in the handheld console such as photos, videos and music. Prior to transferring files to the computer, the user is required to select the output folder for each file type.
To start file transfers, the user may insert the SD card from the console to the computer, connect the system through USB cable, or connect to the device via Wi-Fi protocol. A Wi-Fi Connection Settings option is provided on the user interface of the application.
Users may transfer files individually, or copy entire folders. When content from the console has been synchronized with the computer, the user is given the option to delete files or games from the PS system.
Content Manager Assistant is available for Windows and Mac.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Content Manager Assistant can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
