cDMS is a document management system developed by the company cBrain. The software provides a range of document management solutions that enable them to keep track of all pertinent electronic documents within their organization.
A business solution of this type provides users or key personnel with a dynamic and systematic way of storing, retrieving and sharing of documents that are relevant to every aspect of the business.
Generally, document management systems are integrated with several components that address an organization’s needs in terms of data storage and sharing. The software is able to preserve metadata attached to each document regardless of how many times it has been edited. It also allows the user to attach metadata to new documents, i.e. document date and author, so that users retrieving it will have this information as reference.
Also, document management systems are generally designed to integrate with other applications. This means that the user may be able to retrieve documents from any application, allowing them to retrieve, edit and save documents contained within the repository without having to leave the application that they are currently using.
Our users primarily use cDMS to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files cDMS can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
