Build a lot

What is Build a lot?

Wild Tangent’s Build-A-Lot 2 is based from the SimCity-like Build-A-Lot original game developed in 2007 for the Microsoft Windows platform, in which the general goal of the game is to buy and sell houses and develop real estate for profits. In the original game, you can help mayors from 8 different cities and 35 different and increasingly difficult levels to finish, along the way amassing a fortune from your properties and having tenants pay rent to you (as the owner of the building and/or lot). The franchise has spawned numerous sequels.

Build-A-Lot 2 (also known as a Build-A-Lot 2: Town of the Year) expands on the original premise by being bigger and better than ever. It includes all the elements of the first game, plus all new cities, all new mayors, levels, and house and lot styles. With Build-A-Lot 2: Town of the Year, there will be new types of buildings such as parks and stores, and allows more management for the real-estate tycoon wannabe with a fully furnished inventory system and customizable appearance. One of the main new features of the sequel is the use of landscaping, and selling the landscaped area – a park – for continuous profit.
