BS.Player, short for BorisSoftware Player, is a media player used to support and play several multimedia files including MP3, MP4, AVI, OGG, MPEG, and Quicktime. This media player is developed and produced by Webteh, a software company based on Slovenia.
This software’s main capability is to let users execute both audio and video playbacks. It likewise supports the integration of subtitles, fonts, and is equipped with customizable custom position. Its user interface runs on multilingual platform and it also supports command line. Users can also customize the movie windows as they are both resizable and borderless. It can also be used to play back and save videos from the sharing site –YouTube.
For multimedia formats not supported by this software, the platform can still be used as long as codecs and splitters are installed. Once BS.Player is installed, it automatically locates and checks the pre-installed codecs and splitters of the computer for compatibility validation.
BS.Player comes in two different versions. One is Free, which is powered by AdVantage, and the other one is the Pro version. The earlier versions of the software run of Windows 98 and Me while the more current versions are compatible with Windows 2000 up to Windows 7.
