The AVS Screen Capture is a component of the AVS Video Editor. This utility allows users to take a video or still screenshot of their current screen, but with the added bonus of capturing it in real-time and saving it as a video file (in the FLV, WMV or AVI formats).
The AVS Video Editor is part of the AVS4You package, which includes several of the AVS line of digital multimedia editing and conversion suites. Though there is a free trial for the software, the AVS line is licensed and thus needs to be purchased before it can be used fully; however AVS4You’s unique plan allows you to purchase a single license which can be used for all AVS products. This means that you need only buy one to gain access to all the other AVS4You programs; in other words, buy one, take all.
So what does the AVS Video Editor do? As can be gleaned from the name alone, it allows users to edit their videos and add special effects to these videos, and do other things like trim or even create home-made movies. It boasts over 300 video effects and transitions, plus the ability to create cool stuff like menus (useful for DVDs), annotations, and even subtitles. You can even use the AVS Video Editor to stabilize shaky cam movements, transfer videos from a variety of devices, process HD and Blu-Ray videos, and it supports the most popular video formats. Furthermore, you can share your edited videos directly to video-sharing sites like YouTube and Facebook, and it also includes multi-lingual support.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files AVS Screen Capture can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
