ASIO4ALL is a hardware independent low latency ASIO driver for WDM audio devices. ASIO4ALL uses WDM kernel streaming, and sometimes uses even more sophisticated methods in order to achieve its objectives. It is a driver that works in real time for most audio devices on laptop or desktop computers. ASIO4ALL is a project that was created by Michael Tippach for self-usage. It is now used by people across the globe.
ASIO4ALL has a low-latency output driver that can be used for all kinds of sound devices. Even though the ASIO4ALL tool only works with operating systems that are compatible with WDM, it is also advisable to ensure that the user does not need specific drivers for specific sound devices on machines. ASIO4ALL does not uninstall or repair existing drivers on the user’s desktop or laptop. This makes the driver easy to use, since sometimes, new drivers manage to cause even more trouble for drivers that already exist. Users can also disable settings that are created by ASIO4ALL any time they want, and bring back the original system sound settings with just a click from the interface.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files ASIO4ALL can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
