Amazon Cloud Drive is an online storage service that allows the user to save a copy of their documents and media files on the Web. Users can store videos, photos, audio files and documents. With cloud storage, the user can access their files wherever they are by getting online and accessing their account. The service also provides the user with a backup copy of their important files, so in the event that the computer breaks down, they will not lose critical files.
To avail of the service, the user will have to install the Amazon Cloud Drive software, available from the Amazon website. Once the program is installed, the user will then need to create an account. This will enable them to access their files online. After registration, the user may then go on to start storing their important files in Amazon Cloud Drive. Users are given 5 GB of storage space for free. Additional storage space is charged per gigabyte/year.
The software has a file sync tool, which automatically applies changes to the documents stored in the Cloud Drive, whenever these are updated or edited by the user.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Amazon Cloud Drive can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
