Adobe Prelude CC

If you are looking for Adobe Prelude CC, you have come to the right place. We explain what Adobe Prelude CC is and point you to the official download.

What is Adobe Prelude CC?

Adobe Prelude CC is the brand’s Creative Cloud solution for professional video tagging and transcoding. It is basically used to organize video data as well as to manage and add video metadata. It has a tag panel and tag templates, supports rough cut trimming and workflow elements, has custom auto incrementing, supports transwrapping, and supports XMP. The software also supports still images and is capable of exporting rough cuts, clips, and subclips. Clips and rough cuts can also be played back directly by Adobe Premiere Pro.

Metadata entry through Adobe Prelude CC can be performed in real time—all the metadata is also searchable, which can make sorting through clips easier. As part of Adobe’s Creative Cloud package, it can also be used for collaborative or team-based work due to the Creative Cloud package’s integrated sharing features.

Adobe Prelude CC is available in Dutch, Spanish, French, English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Italian. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and requires a minimum of 4GB of RAM for either OS option. It also requires the system to be capable of OpenGL 2.0.
