What is Acer eRecovery Management?

The Acer eRecovery Management is a built-in software in some Acer computers such as the Apsire V5 Series and Veriton Z Series. This restores PC to its original default settings and/or user defined system configuration in optical disks, hard disk drive partition and secondary partition. It includes an easy to use utility for system setting backup and restoration of data and applications to the optical disks or hard disk drive.

This eRecovery Management by Acer has the capacity to create a full system backup which is recommended for users to do before installing any software and hardware to further protect data and the entire system. It also creates an incremental backup, deletes a backup point made by user, copies images to CD or DVD, burns or copies a backup disk to optical disks, copies current system configuration to optical disk, burns an application backup disk to optical disks, restores system from CD or DVD, re-installs drivers and applications, and other system restore modes such as from WinPe environment.

Launching the Acer eRecovery Management is easy and simple too. Just go to the Start menu of your computer and from the list of programs choose Acer Empowering Technology where you can locate Acer eRecovery Management. Click it and follow the step by step instructions until you finally complete the installation process.
