The Acer Clear.fi co-developed by Cyberlink is an application that can stream media among PCs and other connected devices to a network, acting much like a media streaming center that also doubles as a media playback software. The power of Acer Clear.fi lies in that it can connect all multimedia devices capable of networking on your home network, and browses through all the media files contained in them and presents you all of what it could find in a central device. This allows users to browse for and play all these media from one single and convenient location, without having to open all the devices one by one and find that specific photo, music track, or movie. In addition, Clear.fi can be directly integrated to Facebook, YouTube and Flickr, allowing you to stream photos and videos from those sites, or even to upload your own media directly to these sites from the interface of the Acer Clear.fi.
The Clear.fi capability however only extends to Acer devices, such as Acer laptops, desktops, smartphones, and tablets. Supported devices include all Acer desktops, the Iconia Tab tablet, Iconia Smart smartphone, the Aspire S series of laptops, and the Revo and the Aspire RevoCenter digital home products from Acer.
