What is ThumbsPlus?
ThumbsPlus is a photo organizer and editor software program from Cerious Software. The software’s main function is to provide applications to user that will enable them to organize their photos in one cohesive database. The user can create a catalog for each photo category, and then drag and drop files directly into corresponding folders.
With ThumbsPlus, users are provided with thumbnail views of all their image files, thus, enabling them to instantly determine which photos they want to access. The software’s organizing functions however, are not limited to simply cataloging photos and graphics files. It also enables users to catalog multimedia files, as well as font files.
The features included in the software program also include editing tools. Basic photo editing tools like red eye remover, color adjustments, saturation adjustments, image filters, image cropping and image rotation. Printing options, with print preview, are likewise provided. The user can choose pre-defined photo sizes or can input their desired picture size and the software will automatically calculate the pixel dimension.
The software’s latest stable release is ThumbsPlus 8. The program runs on Windows systems, but is most compatible with Windows XP and higher.
