Nokia Suite

If you are looking for Nokia Suite, you have come to the right place. We explain what Nokia Suite is and point you to the official download.

What is Nokia Suite?

Nokia Suite is synchronization software for Nokia cell phones and Windows computers. Originally named Nokia Ovi Suite, it was the successor to the old Nokia PC Suite software. At its simplest, it permits the user to transfer files across the two devices (the Nokia device and the PC). Hence, for instance, a user with an MP3 on his Nokia device can copy that file to his computer using the software. Of course, the connection works the other way around as well: the file could be transferred from the computer to the Nokia device instead.

Nearly all types of files can be transferred using the program. Videos, images, maps and even messages can be sent to either device using the program’s connection. Other types of content the program allows to be transferred are contact data (from users’ phone books) and calendar data. The program can even be used to send an application downloaded through PC to the user’s Nokia phone.

Besides transfers, the software also facilitates total data backup for Nokia devices and firmware upgrades (again, through transfer of files downloaded on the computer). It can also be used for tethering.
