Opening TLB files

Did your computer fail to open a TLB file? We explain what TLB files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your TLB files.

What is a TLB file?

Files that contain the .tlb file extension are most commonly associated with the Visual Basic application development software.

A TLB file contains a user's interface data, which is used by the programs that support Microsoft Object Linking and Embedding. When a programmer uses Visual Basic to create an OLE or ActiveX server and selects the "Remote Server Support Files" option, the .tlb file is then created.

The Bubble Chamber software also uses the .tlb file suffix. This software program simulates the events that happen in an actual bubble chamber. The TLB files that are used by this program contain reference table files.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
