What is a TCX file (a file with file extension TCX)?
Files that contain the .tcx file suffix are most commonly created by the TurboCAD computer-aided drawing software. This software allows users to create architectural drawings using a computer-aided drawing process rather than by-hand drawing procedures.
The TCX files that are associated with the TurboCAD program contain models that have been created within the TurboCAD application. The TCX files are similar to the TCW files that are created with the same software, but TCX files are saved in a text-based format.
The .tcx file extension is also used for the XML database files that are used by the Garmin Training Center software program.
