What is a SNP file?
Files that contain the .snp file extension are most commonly associated with Access Report Snapshot files. The SNP file format was developed by Microsoft and the SNP files contain a snapshot of reports that have been created in the Microsoft Access database application.
An SNP file will preserve the report layout of an Access report, including all text and graphics, and will provide the information in snapshots that are viewable using the Microsoft Snapshot Viewer.
The SNP file format allows the information that is contained in different Access database reports to be sent to and viewed by individuals who do not have the Microsoft Access database software application.
