What is a M3D file (a file with file extension M3D)?
Files that contain the .m3d file extension are most commonly used by the CorelDraw graphic design and editing software. When a user creates a Corel Motion 3D file, the scene files are saved with the .m3d file extension.
The .m3d file extension is also used by the M3D scientific software. These M3D files contain the chemical modeler files that are used with the application.
The macro files used for 3D Animations have also been known to use the .m3d file suffix.
The EverQuest gaming software also uses the .m3d file extension for the game files that are used by the gaming application.
