What is a JEF file (a file with file extension JEF)?
Files that contain the .jef file extension are most commonly used by embroidery machines in order to sew embroidery patterns that have been created with a computer embroidery software application.
A user can create an embroidery pattern using the software, which is saved with the .jef file suffix, or use a pre-created pattern that is provided with the software and is also saved with the .jef file extension.
The Janome embroidery machines and DigitizerPro embroidery software both use the .jef file extension for the embroidery patterns that are used by the products. The JEF files contain the patterns and instructions that are needed by the software and the sewing machine to sew the patterns into the fabrics.
