What is a BLF file?

A .BLF file is a Windows Common Log File System Data file.

BLF files are log files created by the Windows "Common Log File System" API. It provides a high-performance, general-purpose log file subsystem that client applications can use to optimize log access.

CLFS encapsulates all the functionality of the Algorithm for Recovery and Isolation Exploiting Semantics (ARIES), and any application that needs logging or recovery support can use CLFS.

How to open BLF files

Important: Different programs may use files with the BLF file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your BLF file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
