Opening BIF files

Did your computer fail to open a BIF file? We explain what BIF files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your BIF files.

What is a BIF file?

Files with the .bif extension contain boot information files. These files are used to boot computers from a bootable CD or DVD disc. These files are commonly created by the MagicISO and UltraISO disc authoring applications.

The .bif file extension is also used for Binary information files, byLight image format files, Image Capture board bitmap image files, Corel WordPerfect binary information files and TomTom Navigator files.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
