What is a ASL file (a file with file extension ASL)?

Files that contain the .asl file extension are most commonly associated with the Adobe Photoshop image editing software. The ASL files that are used by this software contain style data that is referenced by the Photoshop application during a user's use of the program. The ASL style files, such as bevels and borders, can be applied to objects or layers to images that are being edited with the Photoshop program.

The .asl file extension is also used for AppSight Console. These ASL files contain log files that are created by the program.

The Miranda software application also uses the .asl file suffix. These ASL files contain the emoticons files that are used with the software.
