What is an XDW file?

Fuji Xerox DocuCentre copiers and scanners most commonly use the .xdw file extension. The XDW files contain images that have been scanned or copied by the devices and can include images, text, and links to Web pages and other documents. The documents, scanned text, and Web pages recorded by the devices can be converted to editable documents that can be modified with word processing applications using OCR technology.

How to open XDW files

Important: Different programs may use files with the XDW file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your XDW file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

Usually, this is an export file created by Milinta to transfer APL data from their system to other APL vendors - in this case, Dyalog.

Dyalog delivers an APL-based development environment that allows both subject matter experts and IT specialists to convert ideas into software solutions efficiently. The workspace may contain objects, namely classes, namespaces, operators, functions, and variables defined by the user. APL expressions may include references to primitive operators, functions, and variables provided by APL (A Programming Language).
